Matthijs Jansen and Mikey Bliksem
Saturday October the 6th, INI presents the second
edition of Arteffects in the venue Amsterdam Roest. The concept stays the
same lots of beats, paint and visuals! We present two new, young and talented painters; Matthijs
Jansen and Mikey Bliksem.
Matthijs
Jansen (left) works with acrylic, oil, watercolour and pencil, he creates wonderful paintings
on paper, panel or canvas. The main theme of his work is his personal life, so
lots of woman, fun, family, personal moments and maybe recognizable situations.
With only a
pencil, paint and some brushes Mikey Bliksem makes beautiful images with a
illustrative and free character. His work is collared and figurative with a lot
of inspiration from animal and human beings.
